Step 1: Open website gmail.com.
Step 2: Press the “Create Account” button.
Step 3: The registration form will then show up. You must provide all the information requested, including your first and last names, a new username, and a new password.
Step 4: In order to validate your account, you will next be prompted to input a phone number. This is a result of Google’s usage of a two-step verification procedure to increase security. Further information regarding two-step verification can be obtained from this source.
Step 5: Google should be sending you a text message with a verification code at this point. You can use the automated call system in its place if this hasn’t been provided in a short while.
Step 6: After your account has been authenticated, a form requesting some personal data will appear. This contains your gender, your birthday, and a recovery email. There is a ton of information available during the sign up process if you feel uncomfortable providing this or if you want to know why Google is requesting it.
Step 7: You must now agree to Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It is strongly advised that you carefully go over both of these documents before selecting “I Agree.”
